フェンバーガー・ハウス宇宙意識美術館の、2年ぶりとなる展覧会と一般公開を、心よりお知らせいたします。We are very happy to announce the first exhibition and public opening of The Museum of Cosmic Consciousness at Fenberger House in 2 years.

本展覧会は月に一度、以下の日程で公開いたします。 開館時間：10:00～16:00 予約不要 入場料：¥500 お茶と手作りのお菓子をご注文いただけます。 宇宙意識美術館館長のロジャー・マクドナルドが、皆様のご質問にお答えいたします。 アクセス：Googleマップで「フェンバーガー・ハウス」をご検索ください。

This exhibition is only open one day a month on the above days. THE HOUSE IS CLOSED ON ALL OTHER DAYS.

10:00 - 16:00. No reservation is required.. Entry is ¥500. Tea and home-made sweets will be available to order. The Director of The Museum of Consciousness, Roger McDonald will be on hand to answer questions. Directions: search for ‘Fenberger House’ on Google Maps.

本展覧会は、オリジナルのドローイング、絵画、版画、高品質な複製作品、そしてテキスタイルで構成されています。展示はフェンバーガー・ハウス全体を通じて、六つのテーマ別セクションに分けて展開されます：

The exhibition comprises original drawings, paintings, prints, hi quality reproductions and textiles. The exhibition is displayed through Fenberger House in six thematic sections:

Pure Seeing: Perception, Duration, and the Living Moment

Energy Through the Body Qi: Trace, Gesture, and Living Mark

The One Light: Sacred Cosmologies and Ultimate Reality

Body is the Earth: Soma, Prana, Earth

Pattern as Prayer: Visionary Textiles and Cosmic Geometry

Everything Vibrates: Mapping Energy

ヴァイタル・ヴィジョンズ: 生きる物質の無限の力と芸術

芸術は世界を表現するだけでなく、その生きるエネルギーを直接物質の中に伝えることができるとしたら、どうだろうか。この問いは、何世紀にもわたり、多くの文化において真剣に問われてきた——気（き）を語る中国の画家たちによって、アドヴァイタ・ヴェーダーンタのインドの哲学者たちによって、西洋ではアンリ・ベルクソンやモーリス・メルロ＝ポンティをはじめとする多くの思想家たちによって。

ここに集められた作品は、千年の時を超え、多くの伝統にまたがっている。それらを結びつけるのは、私たちが想像しうるあらゆる次元——生命システム、時間、空間——にわたる、複雑でエネルギーに満ちた意識の場の中に私たちは存在しているという叡智である。芸術は、人間がこの知を表現しようとしてきた最も力強い手段のひとつであった。

本展では、仏教、インドのヴェーダーンタ哲学、神智学（しんちがく、霊的な宇宙の真理を探求する思想）、キリスト教、シャーマニズム（精霊や自然の力との交流を通じた霊的実践）、世俗的ヒューマニズム（宗教によらず人間の理性と尊厳を重んじる思想）、そして神秘的・秘教的な伝統など、多様な文脈の中で生まれた作品をご覧いただく。

どうか時間をかけて、ゆっくりと注意深く各部屋をめぐっていただきたい。ベッドや椅子にお座りいただいて構わない。私たち鑑賞者には、これらの作品を深く見つめるという、真剣で、そして喜びに満ちた営みが求められている。そうすることで、作品はやがてそのメッセージを私たちに伝え始めるかもしれない。深い呼吸と、静かで探求心に満ちた心をもって、ご覧いただければ幸いである。

Vital Visions: Art and the Infinite Force of Living Matter

What if art can do more than represent the world — what if it can transmit something of its living energy directly into matter? This question has been asked with great seriousness across cultures and centuries — by Chinese painters speaking of qi, by Indian philosophers of Advaita Vedanta, by Henri Bergson and Maurice Merleau-Ponty in the West among many others. The works gathered here span a thousand years and many traditions, united by the wisdom that we exist within a complex, energetic field of consciousness that spans all imaginable scales, living systems, times and spaces. Art has been one of the most powerful ways that humans have tried to express this knowledge. In this exhibition, you will see pictures made in diverse contexts including Buddhism, Indian Vedanta, Theosophy, Christianity, shamanism secular humanism and occult traditions. Please take your time to move slowly and with attentiveness through the rooms. You are welcome to sit on the beds and chairs. We art viewers are tasked with the serious and joyous undertaking of deeply looking at these pictures so that they may perhaps begin to transmit their messages to us. Let us prepare with deep breathing and a calm, inquisitive mind.
