小さなハウスミューゼアムのフェンバーガーハウスでは現代アートとアる個人の戦後の日本のさまざまな資料をみることができる、ユニークな美術館です。

別荘としてたてられた家で不思議な想像の旅をできる場所です。アート作品が家具や歴史資料と一緒に展示されています。昼過ぎにはセレクトされたLPレコードを静かにきく時間があります。完全予約制の美術館です。一日６人限定です。

入場料にはランチ、ガイドツアー、ティータイム,が含まれています。歩いて７分のとこにはもちずき温泉もあって、時間をかけた訪問をおすすめします。

Fenberger House is a small house museum with a collection of contemporary art, furniture and historical artifacts related to the late C.W. McDonald who came to live in Japan in 1950.

Housed in a small second mountain house in the hills of Saku, Nagano, the displays are un-captioned and may generate a unique wandering of the imagination through objects, pictures, histories and sound.
